I offer a free consultation to discuss your requirements for a web site and discuss design ideas. My rates for a customized web site can vary widely depending on your requirements and the complexity of the site. Once we have discussed your specific requirements, I will write up a web site proposal and estimate for you.
The more information you can provide up front, the easier and faster the design process will be. For ideas on layout and design, you may want to search the web for your competitors’ sites, or sites that have the same look and feel you would like to have. Also, WordPress has many layout themes to choose from.
Be sure and complete this website questionnaire and bring it with you when we meet, or email it ahead of time. Here are some things to consider when you filling out the questionnaire:
- Your goals – what do you want your site to accomplish (e.g., bring in new clients, sell products).
- Your audience – a site offering legal services will look very different from a site targeting teens.
- Your content – this includes both text and images. Less is more here. Your site should provide insight into your business or organization without including a plethora of detail.
- What type of interactive functions would you like to have, if any (e.g. contact form, search capability).
